Damond Blueitt, M.D. specializes in sports medicine, complex concussion management, and non-operative orthopedic care and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He previously served as the head team physician for Riverside High School in Greenville, S.C., and the assistant team physician for both the University of South Carolina Upstate and North Greenville University.
Dr. Blueitt received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he played wide receiver for the Mustangs. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency at Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he was named resident of the year and co-chief resident.
